Subway tiles get their name from the classic ceramic tiles used on the walls of the New York City subway stations in the early twentieth century. Recently introduced lines we are importing from Spain include handmade look tiles, Zellige look tiles, Mediterranean wall tiles, a bespoke vintage series, rustic aged look tiles, bevel edge tiles and the new early industry range of subway tiles. Many of these lines also come in square wall tile formats. The use of subway tiles in a bathroom or kitchen space is timeless.

Our Spanish and Italian handmade wall tile reproduction ranges come in numerous finishes and profiles — decorative options for a Moroccan Zellige look, a modern Mediterranean vibe, beach house designs, farmhouse style, kitchen splashbacks, feature walls and bathroom renovations.

Choosing The Right Subway Tile

A large variety of subway tile designs are available on the market, but it is important not to be hasty — choosing the right colour and texture makes a big difference in creating a working space.

Also check how authentic the finish of the tile is. Many of these are machine made products replicating a handmade or aged product, so the detail in the print, the variations in tone and shade, and the finish of the mould are very important. Many of these products can look rather fake when laid en masse. As you can see in our gallery, our handmade look tiles look authentic — it's all about the detail that makes them look so realistic.

Yes. We supply customers across Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Central Coast and Wollongong, and can organise deliveries for interstate clients. Delivery is quoted based on your delivery area, the quantity ordered and pallet size.
