At Kalafrana Ceramics we import all our own Mediterranean Style wall and floor tiles. These Spanish tiles are made for those who love the look and feel of handmade patterned cement encaustic tiles, decorative Moroccan tiles, antique artisan tiles, coastal beach house designs, modern mediterranean, country farmhouse look, rustic look, zellige tile designs, retro styled and handmade tiles. Also our range of Flagstone & French pattern porcelain stone look tiles are perfect for those larger expanses. These floors are on spec for the Modern Mediterranean look.
We only sell the Spanish tiles. Unlike other lesser quality versions on the market, the print does not look layered on top, little to no cushion/radius on the edge of the tile, no Framing occurs. Framing is when the print does not go all the way to the edge of the tile. Always check for these issues when comparing tiles. Another very important factor is the number of faces of the tiles. A face is a unique print on the tile. Our Spanish tiles have anywhere up to 40 faces to make them look so realistic.
